Statement of Purpose

To provide for the continuance of traditional spiritual and healing teachings of indigenous peoples through the sponsoring of ceremonies, gatherings, workshops, continual research into holistic healing techniques, and other activities that promote the preservation of indigenous ways, and to provide financial support to tribal elders, healers, and spiritual leaders whenever possible.

Mission Statement

To ensure the revitalization of cultural and spiritual harmony between all peoples through the use of the traditional ways of North American Indigenous Nations.

History and Activities

Gadohi Usquanigodi Native American Spiritual Center was founded August of 1994 with the Ven. Running Wolf, a Cherokee Medicine Man, as its Elder Spiritual Leader. We provide for the continuance of traditional spiritual and healing teachings of North American Indigenous people through our work.

This includes regular A si (sweat lodge) ceremonies and Ga nv no wa (prayer) circles at each of the Centers. We also have an annual spring U tse la s ka (Vision Quest) gathering and fall Elder’s Gathering.

People from across the country and around the world come to participate in our activities and to receive spiritual guidance, teachings and healings from the Ven. Running Wolf, MSW. In addition, the center provides a Spiritual Leadership training program for those who wish to become authorized to conduct ceremony.

The centers provide financial support to tribal elders, spiritual leaders and community supported activities whenever possible. Funds to support our activities come through donations from individuals and organizations across the country.
